The opportunity most commonly pursued by Spas at present is the Infrared pre-treatment room which offers the perfect starting point for a spa treatment for guests that want a deep and effective heat treatment prior to massage or other treatments but do not want to go to the extent of using the wet spa.

In most spas the time waiting for the therapist to collect them is largely unproductive for the guest and non-income generating for the operator. Selling an IR pre-treatment along with the therapist treatment can help add value for the guest and profitability for the operator, without requiring the time of a therapist.
