Situated in the heart of the Lake District in the famous Langdale Valley, well known for the spectacular mountain range and superb walking, Langdale Hotel and Country Club offers a mountain destination retreat. Set in 35 acres of fine woodland, steeped in heritage and character, we offer 100 luxury timeshare lodges and, of the 57 bedroom hotel, several suites boast fantastic river edge frontage whilst others taunt the Lakeland fells.

Relaxation facilities are in abundance: a UV treated swimming pool with relaxation chairs, sanarium, steam room, tropical shower, deluge shower and jacuzzi spa.

For those wishing to re-energise, we offer guided fell walking, mountain bike hire and guides, an aerobics studio with a selection of classes including Body Training Systems, a Technogym Fitness suite with personal trainers as well as any necessary health and fitness checks.

Four treatment rooms offer therapies from signature Langdale massages to treatments benefiting the natural plant extracts used in the Elemis product range. Using the finest ingredients, these products aim not only to give you healthier skin, but also to lift your spirits and promote a sense of well-being. We are able to offer the famous Guinot Hydradermie along with a small selection from the range.

A relaxed and friendly atmosphere awaits you, if cuisine is on your agenda, with the different styles of Purdey's AA Rosette Fine Dining, Hobson's Bar, Terrace Cafe/Restaurant or a good old fashioned Lakeland Pub 'Wainwrights Inn'.

Langdale is not exclusively for the satisfaction of our guests; we are pleased to open our doors to a limited number of non-residents. Day Guests may choose a package, which includes a treatment, but all can enjoy the relaxation facilities, lunch in the Terrace, and access to our gym.
