Calcot Manor

Introduction

Calcot Spa offers a 16 metre indoor pool, sauna, steam room, garden spa pool, fitness room, tennis, exercise studio, 7 beauty treatment rooms and a relaxation room.

It was designed by leading spa specialist 'Corporate Edge' whose clients include Champney's Cannons and the Amida Spa.

They were asked to create an exterior that was sympathetic to the very strong tradition of Cotswold architecture, and maximise the use of local craftsmen and materials. The brief for the interior focused on combining a classical style with a more contemporary feel, concentrating on simplicity, proportion and detail.

The designers were asked to use natural materials where possible, and to create a calm interior that reflected the beauty of the surroundings.

Natural materials and a soft palette of colours have been adopted, with sea-greens and stonework reflecting the beauty of the outdoor landscape. Not occupying a basement area but one of the highest points in the Cotswolds, the Calcot Spa will maximise light reflection and the views of rolling pastures to instil an even deeper sense of relaxation and well-being.

Exercise & Fitness

Technogym have equipped the gym with the most up to date range of Cardiovascular and Resistance equipment.

Our team of fully qualified fitness professionals will assess your level of fitness and your personal goals and design a personal training programme to suit individual needs, they will always be on hand to ensure you a safe and effective work out. Personal training sessions will also be available at an extra charge.

Health & Beauty

The Health & Beauty section of the Spa features a specialist section for Dry Floatation treatments, a Hamman bed, Relaxation Room, Steam Room, Sun Bed and Sauna. Slot windows in the aromatic cedar sauna provides a refreshing view down onto swimming pool below. The Spa boasts 6 treatment rooms arranged around a dedicated beauty area for pedicures and manicures as well as cosmetic treatments and a number of alternative therapies including Reiki and Reflexology.
